There were many reports of injuries to the high school students who were taken to several area hospitals, one of which was University Hospital in downtown Louisville. The Louisville Courier-Journal is reporting that as many as 35 were injured. The link to its online news report is as follows:

A radio interview of a University of Louisville Hospital physician reported that even though the crash involved some serious injuries, none appeared to be life threatening.
